Let me introduce myself! I live in St. Louis, Missouri with my family of 4. My husband and I are both engineers, so things tend to be on the geeky side around here. We are all big fans of science fiction, anime and Studio Ghibli. And of course, cosplay. I have made many cosplay outfits over the years! We used to call them Halloween costumes, but you can wear cosplay year-round.
We travel, a lot. You can check out my Flickr account to some of the fun places we've been. Covid-19 has put a damper on our travels. We can't wait for the world to open back up so we can start exploring again.
I have always been a crafty person. Some of my earliest memories are sitting at my Grandmother's kitchen table making crafts. She was just trying to keep me entertained, but she created a life-long love of using my hands to create something new. My Aunt is an artist, and although she did not specialize in ceramics, there were ceramics she created in college all around my Grandparent's house. I was always intrigued by them and wanted to try making ceramics myself one day. A few years ago I decided to take a class at the Krueger Pottery here in St. Louis. And I was hooked! I still do a lot of the other types of crafting I've been doing all my life, but pottery has become my passion.
